Social Events

Bipolar Aberdeen runs an occasional series of social events for members and their guests. For details of our next event see the News & Events Section.

COVID-19 - FOLLOWING THE ADVICE ISSUED BY THE UK AND SCOTTISH GOVERNMENTS AND THE FACT THAT THE INCHGARTH COMMUNITY CENTRE IS CLOSED FOR AN INDEFINITE PERIOD, NO MEETINGS HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE. THE COMMITTEE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING TO SEE IF THERE IS A WAY IN WHICH WE CAN HOLD ALTERNATIVE MEETINGS FOR MEMBERS, WHETHER ACTUAL OR VIRTUAL. MEMBERS WILL BE CONTACTED DIRECTLY AND VIA FACEBOOK IF A PRACTICAL ALTERNATIVE CAN BE IDENTIFIED. WE URGE ALL OF OUR MEMBERS TO TAKE ALL POSSIBLE STEPS TO KEEP THEMSELVES AND THEIR LOVED ONES SAFE DURING THESE DIFFICULT TIMES.

BiPOLAR ABERDEEN COMMITTEE

We will hold our next self-help group meeting on Thursday 26th of March 2020 from 7-9pm at the Inchgarth Community Centre, Aboyne Place, Aberdeen, AB10 7DR.

At our next meeting we expect to welcome a representative from Bipolar Scotland to talk about several matters of common interest to our organisations, followed by an open discussion on issues and topics relative to the Group.  New members are welcome to come along and find out what the Group is all about. Carers are also always welcome to attend to find out more about the condition and how we at Bipolar Aberdeen can help and advise.
